Judith Musslewhite Upcoming Service

Judith Claire LeBouef Musslewhite, of Houma, Louisiana and most recently of Queen Creek, Arizona, Passed from this world September 11th, 2024, with her husband of 70 years at her side.

If ever anyone was destined to be a devoted loving mother and grandmother, that person was Judtih.  She was bold and courageous leaving her mother and siblings and everything she had ever known in Houma to venture with her husband Leland and three small children to make a new life in Alberta, Canada.  She quickly connected with the ladies from Immaculate Heart Parish and found lifelong friendships and guidance from the women and Priests she met there.

She was an excellent cook and learned to expertly mask the flavor of the wild game that Leland brought home to feed their family which grew to five children once they settled in Edmonton.  Later, as grandchildren came, it was known that any if any of the children claimed to ‘not like’ something the response was coming that ‘Mama don’t make no bad food!’

Judith had an eye for decorating and created a beautiful home for her family with choice selections of furniture and fabrics.  Due to her natural talent with an eye for color and texture she would later have great success working in model homes assisting potential buyers with room design and also worked in an upscale boutique assisting ladies with clothing selections.  In addition to cooking and decorating she enjoyed entertaining, traveling with Leland, and her love for family, both in Cananda and in Houma, was unceasing.

She left behind her husband Leland, five children; Faith, Lawayne (Marrilyn), Monica (Timothy), Matthew (Lorreen) and Jennifer (Barry); 10 grandchildren; Lisa, Jessica, Briana, Amanda, Vanessa, Jay, Rebecca, Travis, Jordan and Devyn and 10 great grandchildren; Scott, Sierra, Venice, Thomas, Kheyton, Braxton, Andre, Zayden, Fox and Tobias, her sister in law Rita LeBoeuf and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased in death by her parents James and Inez Bacon LeBoeuf, siblings James LeBoeuf Jr, Eugene LeBoeuf, Roger LeBouef, Nina Allen Badeau, Constance Boudreaux, Imelda Acosta, Louella Guidry and Jeanne Doiron.

Judith and Leland, having joined each other in heaven January 15th, 2025, will be laid to rest together for eternity, at San Tan Memorial Cemetery in Queen Creek at a future date to be determined.
