Lee Robert McCarty, 67, of San Tan Valley, AZ, passed away on February 21, 2024.

Lee grew up in South Bend, IN, and attended LaSalle High School. In his younger days, he enjoyed driving his Corvettes and fishing with his friends. He was always an early adopter of technology and one of the first to have a cell phone, satellite dish, and computer. He was an exceptional woodworker and could craft anything you could imagine. In his later years, he had many hobbies and interests and loved talking with people. 

Lee worked as an Inspector at Bendix Corp. He then went on to study Electrical Engineering at Purdue University. He later worked as a Security Police Officer and Locksmith at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

In 1985, he met Adrienne (Zacks) McCarty, and they wed in 1987. They had a beautiful marriage of 36 years filled with love and laughter. 

Lee was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Betty McCarty. Lee is survived by his wife, Adrienne McCarty; his brothers Dick (Rose) McCarty, Jerry (Kumiko) McCarty, Andy McCarty, and Mark (Cindy) McCarty; his two daughters Melissa McCarty, Blair (Matt) Dawson; and his three granddaughters Jordyn, Grace, and Riley.
