To keep San Tan Memorial Gardens looking its very best, flowers and other items of memorialization are removed from the cemetery grounds on the 1st Tuesday of every month. The dates of removal are listed below.
We ask that you remove all items of memorialization prior to the dates listed. Items not removed prior to the first Tuesday are carefully removed by our grounds crew and placed in the Flower Retrieval area behind the office for a maximum of 60 days. San Tan Memorial Gardens is not responsible for loss or damage to any items.
Flowers and other memorial items can be returned to the cemetery grounds the day after the specified removal dates.
*Any removal days that fall on national holidays will take place on the day prior to the holiday.
All items removed on these dates will be placed on the black shelves behind the office. Any items remaining on the black shelves after 30 days will then be placed on the red shelves where they will remain for another 30 days. After 30 more days on the red shelves, all items will be permanently discarded. This disposal process continues each month. Please be respectful when retrieving your items by retrieving only those items that belong to you.
**Please note, during the month of October, the grass is scalped, fertilized and prepared for the planting of winter rye grass. After the October 4th removal, we ask that you withhold from placing flowers and other decorations on graves until after the November 2nd removal. The official dates for scalping and planting will be determined at the beginning of October and posted throughout the cemetery as well as on the cemetery's social media accounts.
Thank you for your Cooperation
